Colombia - Huila Pink Bourbon

Our Colombian Pink Bourbon boasts sweetness in the cup that reminds us of raspberry and strawberry sweets. It has a vanilla smoothness with a tea like body similar to a rooibos. 

This well balanced cup is delightful as a pourover brew but makes a very juicy espresso. When served with milk it reminds us of raspberry ripple ice cream!

The Huila region is known for excellence in Colombia and the Pink Bourbon varietal is named due to its pink cherry. Terra Coffee are a collective who work with a range of smallholding family farmers providing greater opportunity to bring their amazing cultivations to a wider audience.

The Honey process is a hybrid of the washed and natural processes. The coffee is de-pulped, leaving the mucilage on and then allowed to dry. This means you get some fermentation of natural sugars but not too heavy. It allows a deep flavour but balanced and bright cup.
