Costa Rica - Tarrazú

This Red Catuai from Costa Rica is a juice bomb, with intense orange liquor, dark chocolate, and raisins. The anaerobic natural process provides a rich and unctuous mouthfeel.

This offering is the first of our partnership coffees with Sloth Coffee Co in Uplands, Swansea. We have selected and developed this coffee to be used as a guest offering as espresso and filter.

The green beans come from Finca Casa de Piedra one of the two farms that make up the Cafe Directo group in the Tarrazú region of Costa Rica. The unique altitude, soil conditions and local flora alongside progressive farming methods focussing on sustainability and Biodiversity means they continuously produce excellent examples of Red catuai, Pacamara and Geisha varietals.
