This is a special microlot exhibiting some really interesting beans boasting juicy flavours of plum, grape and tropical fruit with hints of tea.
Coffee was thought to have originated in Ethiopia and the Guji region of is well known for producing speciality coffee of a very high standard. Growing at a high altitude of 1900-2100 MASL the hardy coffee cherries produce beans of very distinct flavours. The ripest cherries are then hand picked and dried on raised beds for 15-205 days.
The coffee is roasted to highlight the juiciness and fruit forward flavours along with the rich and full mouthfeel of a classic natural coffee. This microlot is only available in a small quantity so it is well worth trying while it is avialable!
